We are recognized as the voice of the pet food industry with government officials and the various departments with which we work. We have strong relationships with CFIA, both import and export and animal products groups, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the Market Access Secretariat, Global Affairs Canada, and the Trade Commissioner Service, among others.
Besides advocacy and regulatory support with direct lines to government, PFAC can also provide your company with a global presence and expertise as a founding member of the Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA). We provide regular information on key and emerging issues, direct support on individual or industry challenges, and networking opportunities.
